PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seizing wire separation mechanism which can enhance the certainty of seizing ring-tightening movements, ensure the straight movements of a projection member, correspond, even when the leg of an animal is inserted into any position of the seizing ring, and separate a seizing wire from the main body of an animal-seizing apparatus at the final time of the seizing movement. SOLUTION: This seizing wire separation mechanism for separating the seizing wire 14 disposed on the outside of a cylinder main body 11, in the animal-seizing apparatus of style wherein the projection member 13 disposed at one end of a spring body 12 in the cylinder main body 11 is projected by the extension force of the spring body 12 to tighten the seizing ring 15, is characterized by comprising a separator 1 having a roller structure sliding part 3 into which the seizing wire 14 can slidably be inserted and a setting portion 4 engaged in a state capable of being positioned, rotated, inserted or withdrawn, and detached, and a guide member 2 which has an engaging portion 5 capable of being engaged with the setting portion 4 at the upper end and attached or detached to or from the projection member 13, is set to the axial center of the cylinder main body 11 and the spring body 12, and has a length of about 1 to 2 times the setting diameter D of the seizing ring 15.
