Provided herein are compositions of injectable antibiotics for veterinary use. The compositions are characterized by forming a gel at animal physiological temperature, said gel being characterized by a stable and repeatable release profile of the antibiotic. The compositions comprise high loading of drug in poloxamer solutions with addition of a co-solvent, and preferably with an addition of a cellulose derivative at least partially soluble in organic solvents. Methods of treatment of veterinary infections are also provided.L'invention concerne des compositions d'antibiotique injectables à usage vétérinaire.
