The present disclosure relates to methods, devices and systems used for the treatment of medical disorders via stimulation of the superficial elements of the trigeminal nerve. More specifically, minimally invasive systems, devices and methods of stimulation of the superficial branches of the trigeminal nerve located extracranially in the face, namely the supraorbital, supratrochlear, infraorbital, auriculotemporal, zygomaticotemporal, zygomaticoorbital, zygomaticofacial, nasal and mentalis nerves (also referred to collectively as the superficial trigeminal nerve) are disclosed herein.L'invention concerne des procédés, des dispositifs et des systèmes qui permettent de traiter des troubles médicaux en stimulant les éléments superficiels du nerf trijumeau. L'invention se rapporte, en particulier, à des systèmes, des dispositifs et des procédés minimalement invasifs qui permettent de stimuler les branches superficielles du nerf trijumeau situées au niveau extra-crânien sur le visage, c'est-à-dire les nerfs sus-orbitaire, supra-trochléaire, sous-orbitaire, auriculo-temporal, zygomatico-temporal, zygomatico-orbitaire, zygomatico-facial, nasal et mentonnier (collectivement désignés sous le terme « nerfs trigéminés superficiels »).
