PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fishing reel capable of a series of searching operation smoothly and quickly, and excellent in holding retentivity.SOLUTION: The electric fishing reel includes: a spool 7 which is provided between right and left side plates 5A, 5B of a reel body 5, and around which a fishing line is wound a driving motor 8 which is provided for the reel body 5, and drives the spool 7 rotationally and an operation member 25 which adjusts the output of the driving motor 8.
