PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing, smoothly performing a series of operation from thumbing operation of a spool to fishing line winding operation with fingers of the hand holding a reel body.SOLUTION: The electric reel for fishing includes: the spool 7 provided between right and left side plates 5A, 5B of the reel body 5, where a fishing line is wound a driving motor provided on the reel body 5 for rotatively driving the spool 7 and an operating member 30 for adjusting the output of the driving motor.
