PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine of an axle operation type equipped with a tilling part, which is simply changed from a state in which the forward travel of the tending machine is braked during a tilling operation to a state in which the tending machine is suitably moved except during the tilling operation.SOLUTION: The tending machine 10 is equipped with wheels 33 behind a tilling part 14, and the wheels 33 are adjustable in height. The tending machine 10 is equipped with a resistance imparting part (braking means) 50 for imparting resistance to the rotation of the wheels 33. The resistance imparting part 50 is equipped with a link mechanism 59 having a brake link 34 and a brake rod 35. One end of the brake link 34 is connected to the rear part 20 of a machine body 20 and the other end is connected to the brake rod 35.
