PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter that has no need for a clutch for stopping a blade to rotate by power and no need for a mechanical brake for braking the blade rotating by inertia or can lower operation force of a mechanical brake even when the mechanical brake is adopted and has excellent durability of a power transmission system.SOLUTION: A bush cutter includes an electric motor M for rotating and driving a blade 31, a motor controller D for controlling the electric motor M, and a starter switch S that rotates or stops the electric motor M by turning to ON or OFF by a manual operation.
