595606 Disclosed is a construction (1) for milking a group of dairy animals. The group includes at least two subgroups such that a first subgroup includes dairy animals that produce a first type of milk, and a second subgroup includes dairy animals that produce a second type of milk. The construction includes a milking system (2) for milking a dairy animal, an identification system (10) for identifying the dairy animal that presents itself for a milking, a teat cleaning device (11) for cleaning at least one teat, and a control device (12). The control device (12) is configured to take a decision about whether the dairy animal that presents itself should be milked and thus control the milking system (2) to milk the dairy animal if desirable. The control device (12) then puts the teat cleaning device (11) into operation and cleans a teat of the dairy animal upon identification of the dairy animal being from the first subgroup by the identification system (10). Otherwise, if the control device (12) identifies the dairy animal being from the second subgroup (B), the control device (12) is configured to limit the action of the teat cleaning device (11).
