PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus with an irradiation optical system for irradiating the eyeground of a subject eye with pattern light which is made by using a plurality of light-emitting elements.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic apparatus includes illumination means in which a plurality of pairs of light sources are arranged about an axis of an illumination optical system in a predetermined pattern, each pair of light sources including: a first illumination light source emitting light of predetermined wavelength region and arranged to project an illumination light flux along the optical axis of the illumination optical system and a second illumination light source 91a-91h emitting light of a different wavelength region from that of the first illumination light source and arranged more apart than the first illumination light source from the optical system to project an illumination light flux in a direction approaching the optical system.
