PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeground imaging apparatus having a compact illumination optical system which suppresses superimposition of noise light on captured images.SOLUTION: The eyeground imaging apparatus includes: an illumination optical system 30 for illuminating the eyeground of a subject eye and an imaging optical system 10 for capturing an image of the eyeground illuminated by the illumination optical system. The illumination optical system includes a plurality of illumination light sources 31 or 32 for illuminating the eyeground of the subject eye, which are arranged annularly around the optical axis of the imaging optical system between an objective lens 11 and an imaging element 17 of the imaging optical system.
