The present invention relates to a light-specific BrEXPA1 promoter and use thereof. More specifically, the brassica rapa a-expansin1 (BrEXPA1) promoter, separated from brassica rapa, expresses a target gene in the whole tissue of a plant. At the same time, gene expression by the promoter varies depending on the light wavelength. Therefore, the light-specific BrEXPA1 promoter can be used to adjust growth of the plant by using various light wavelengths of an LED light source.본 발명은 배추 유래 광 파장 특이적 BrEXPA1 프로모터 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 배추로부터 분리한 BrEXPA1(brassica rapa a-expansin1) 프로모터는 목적 유전자를 식물의 전체 조직에서 발현시키면서 동시에 광 파장에 따라 발현이 달라지므로 LED 광원의 다양한 광 파장을 이용한 작물의 성장 조절에 활용할 수 있다.
