PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for objectively evaluating set performance of a hair cosmetic.SOLUTION: A method uses a measurement sample 20 composed of a plurality of braided hairs on which a hair cosmetic is applied, performs dynamic viscoelasticity measurement on the measurement sample 20 in its longitudinal direction, and evaluates set performance of the hair cosmetic on the basis of rheological properties acquired by the measurement. It is ideal to use the measurement sample made by braiding bundles of a plurality of hairs and applying the hair cosmetic on it, or it is ideal to use the measurement sample made by applying the hair cosmetic on a plurality of hairs and braiding the bundles of hairs on which the hair cosmetic is applied.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】毛髪化粧料のセット性を客観的に評価することが可能な方法を提供すること。【解決手段】複数本の毛髪からなり、該毛髪が組み紐に編まれており、かつ毛髪化粧料が塗布されている測定サンプル20について、その長手方向における動的粘弾性測定を行い、測定によって得られたレオロジー特性に基づき該毛髪化粧料のセット性を評価する。複数本の前記毛髪からなる毛束を組み紐に編み、それに前記毛髪化粧料を塗布したものを前記測定サンプルとして用いることが好適である。あるいは、複数本の前記毛髪に前記毛髪化粧料を塗布し、該毛髪化粧料が塗布された毛髪からなる毛束を組み紐に編んだものを前記測定サンプルとして用いることが好適である。【選択図】図1
