PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of hairdressing performance of a hairdressing agent capable of objectively and accurately evaluating hairdressing performance of a hairdressing agent, with a simple operation, in human hair under various conditions, and a head model for evaluation.SOLUTION: In an evaluation method of hairdressing performance of a hairdressing agent, a head model which comprises a hair bundle composed of hair and a substrate is used. In the head model, one end of hair constituting the hair bundle is fixed to the substrate so that a cuticle direction will be in the same direction as hair on a human head. After hairdressing the head model by applying the hairdressing agent, secular change in the bundle shape is examined while contacting a scalp sebum component with the hair bottom, and hairdressing performance of the hairdressing agent is evaluated by the secular change in the bundle shape. A head model comprises a hair bundle 13 composed of hair 12 and a substrate 11.
