PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foolproof function with respect to a syringe setting mistake in a syringe pump where the set syringe is hardly visually recognized from an external part.SOLUTION: The syringe pump 100 having a syringe mounting part 110 and a slide assembly 120 includes: a door 140 which turns between a closed position and an opened position and where an operation panel 145 is arranged on the outer front surface a clamp 113 for clamping the syringe S at the syringe mounting part 110 by turning in the cross sectional direction of the syringe S and a projection part 123 to be projected according to the opening/closing state of hooks 122 for holding a syringe thumb rest SP.
