PURPOSE: A walking aid device and a method for preventing overspeed are provided to assist a user to walk on a downhill using a deceleration device and to allow a user to take a rest using a foldable seat.CONSTITUTION: A walking aid device comprises a foldable seat and a deceleration device. The deceleration device is mounted on wheels and decelerates using a current. The deceleration device is operated by a principle that deceleration is caused by a magnetic force opposite to the flow of a current, which is generated by a coil which covers a non-conductive line. The deceleration device provides a sufficient braking effect using only small number of magnets and prevents elderly people from being injured on a downhill.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013보행 보조 장치 및 이의 과속 방지 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명은, 접이식 의자와 바퀴에 장착되고 맴돌이 전류를 이용하여 감속하는 감속 장치를 구비한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 바퀴 부분에 감속 장치가 장착되어 있어 내리막길에서도 안전하게 사용자의 보행을 보조할 수 있고 접이식 의자가 장착되어 있어 이동하는 도중에 어디서나 앉아서 편하게 쉴 수 있다.
