[Problem] To provide a stent and a stent delivery system which make it possible to reliably achieve uniform dilation. [Solution] A stent comprises a corrugated linear member which can extend in the circumferential direction and dilate in the radial direction. The linear member comprises a pair of straight parts (123), a tip part (124) and an opening (127). Both ends of the tip part (124) are linked to the pair of straight parts (123). The opening (127) is positioned at least in the tip part (124). The tip part (124) has a link part (126) comprising a region which is positioned further towards the outer periphery than the opening (127), and a base part (125) comprising a region which is positioned further towards the inner periphery than the opening (127). The base part (125) has a curved inner periphery and the link part (126) lies across a tip point (125A) of the base part (125).
