The present invention relates to a traction arm having an apparatus capable of preventing a safety accident due to excessive force transmitted to an affected area during traction. The present invention further relates to an overload preventing traction device including the same. To this end, the traction arm comprises: a relaxation damper part inserting one side of a traction shaft for pulling a fractured bone piece of a patient in a forward and backward direction after coupling into an insertion groove formed therein, and connected to a driving part of a traction device main body supplying force to absorb some forces delivered if the traction shaft is released from the insertion groove by being uncoupled； and a load limiter part coupling the traction shaft and mounted to opened one side of the relaxation damper part for uncoupling if force greater than a predetermined intensity is supplied from the driving part.본 발명은 견인 도중 과도한 힘이 환부에 전달되는 안전사고를 방지할 수 있는 장치를 구비한 견인아암 및 이를 포함하는 과부하 방지 견인장치에 관한 것으로, 환자의 골절된 골편을 체결한 후 전후 방향으로 견인하는 견인축의 일측을 내부에 형성된 삽입홈에 삽입하며, 상기 견인축의 체결이 풀려 상기 삽입홈으로부터 이완될 경우 전달되는 힘 일부를 흡수할 수 있도록 힘을 공급하는 견인기본체의 구동부에 연결 설치되는 이완댐퍼부； 및 상기 견인축을 체결하며, 상기 구동부로부터 기 설정된 힘 이상의 힘이 공급될 경우 체결을 풀어줄 수 있도록 상기 이완댐퍼부의 개방된 일측에 장착 설치되는 부하리미터부를 포함한다.
