PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely control unreeling of a lead by a natural operation to pull back the lead reflexively when the unreeling of the lead is stopped.SOLUTION: The case of a retractable lead includes a body and a grip in front and behind with a finger insertion space therebetween. A reel is rotatably supported in the body of the case through a spiral spring so that the rotational force is biased toward the reeling side. A brake trigger is provided on the grip so as to be able to be pushed in and to be slidable while being biased toward the push-back side. A brake arm in association with the sliding motion of the brake trigger is turnably provided in the body of the case.
