PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent body having very high "body fitness", the entire absorbent body being flexibly deformed to closely fit complexly undulating skin of a wearer, and "following property", the absorbent body well following deformation due to the wearers actions, which has an improved ability to absorb and retain a liquid or the like in deformation, and to provide an absorbent article using the absorbent body.
SOLUTION: Provided is the absorbent body in which a plurality of absorbent units are separated from each other and attached to a base sheet with a fixed part interposed therebetween. In a planar view, the fixed part is contained within the region where the absorbent units are. The plurality of absorbent units are arranged so that it can become possible for liquid to move between the absorbent units.
