PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that enables puncture treatment to be performed efficiently.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes an input device, an image generation control part, and a display control part. The input device receives a specification operation for specifying an insertion point and a target point of a puncture needle on an MPR image generated from volume data. The image generation control part generates an MPR image of a plurality of cross-sections including the insertion point and the target point of the puncture needle received by the input device from the volume data.
