The present invention relates to a composition for eye care, which contains Dunaliella extracts and Chinese medicine compound prescription extracts, wherein the weight percentage of Dunaliella extracts is 30-70% and the weight percentage of Chinese medicine compound prescription extracts is 30-70%. The composition for eye care of this invention may promote the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cell line (ARPE-19), reduce the reactive oxygen species (ROS) contents in ARPE-19 cells after subjecting to H2O2 induced oxygen pressure, and increase the anti-oxidation enzyme contents in APRE-19 cells after subjecting to H2O2 induced oxygen pressure. The composition for eye care of this invention may provide the effect of eye care.本發明係關於用於護眼之組合物。該用於護眼之組合物包括:杜莎藻萃取物及中藥複方萃取物。杜莎藻萃取物之重量百分比為30-70%。中藥複方萃取物之重量百分比為30-70%。本發明用於護眼之組合物可促進人類視網膜色素上皮細胞株ARPE-19增生,且可降低ARPE-19細胞經H2O2誘發氧化壓力後細胞內ROS含量,及可增加ARPE-19細胞經H2O2誘發氧化壓力後細胞內抗氧化酵素含量,本發明用於護眼之組合物具有護眼之功效。
