PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester which can reliably discharge a foliage part at a holding-conveyance end part and can also prevent the discharged foliage part from interfering with digging-up work or collection work of crops.SOLUTION: The root crop harvester is arranged with: a dig-up/conveyance device 40 which digs up and conveys a foliage K while holding the foliage K with an endless belt 44, thereby digging up a crop G and a cutting device 70 which cuts the foliage K of the crop G being conveyed by the di-up/conveyance device 40. Foliage separation members 100, 101, which separate the foliage K cut by the cutting device 70 from the dig-up/conveyance device 40, are arranged at a holding-conveyance end part of the di-up/conveyance device 40. Rear parts of the foliage separation members 100, 101 project on a machine body rear side with respect to a rear end part of the dig-up/conveyance device 40. Projected parts of the foliage separation members 100, 101 are bent in a direction separating from the holding-conveyance end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
