To provide a method for laying a mulching sheet comprising: laying a nonporous mulching sheet ON the upper part of a porous mulching sheet to be laid in contact with the surface of a farm field simultaneously while superimposing the sheets ON each other, and fixing the nonporous mulching sheet so as to be peeled when fixing both sides of the respective sheets in a laying direction to the surface of a farm field and so as to facilitate HEAT retention of the surface of the farm field and prevention of evaporation of disinfectant.
SOLUTION: The method for laying a mulching sheet comprises: fixedly laying the porous mulching sheet 3 ON the surface of the farm field and sowing seeds or planting seedlings ON the surface of the farm field through-holes made in the porous mulching sheet 3 simultaneously laying the porous mulching sheet 3 laid in contact with the surface of the farm field and the nonporous mulching sheet 4 for blocking the holes of the porous mulching sheet 3 from above while superimposing the sheets ON top of each other fixedly laying the nonporous mulching sheet 4 to be peeled while the porous mulching sheet 3 is fixedly laid when fixing both sides of the porous mulching sheet 3 and the nonporous mulching sheet 4 to the surface of the farm field in their laying direction.
