A liquid dispenser (1), comprising:a container (200) configured to store liquid and having an upper rim (230) defining an upper opening；a base (100) to support the container (200)；a pump (192) having an inlet (192c) to suction liquid stored in the container (200) and an outlet (192a) to discharge the liquid；a filter assembly (300) configured to be supported by the upper rim (230) of the container (200)； anda dispensing assembly (400) provided over a top of the filter assembly (300) such that the dispensing assembly (400) and the filter assembly (300) close the upper opening of the container (200), wherein the pump (192) pumps liquid from the container (200) to an upper surface of the dispensing assembly (400), and wherein the filter assembly (300) further includes:a first plate (312, 322) configured to fit inside of the container (200),a first wall (313, 323) extending upward from the first plate (312, 322), wherein an outer surface of the first wall (313, 323) is supported by the upper rim (23) of the container (200), andat least one opening (325, 312) through which liquid dropped from the dispensing assembly (400) returns to the container (200).
