PURPOSE: A production method of tea using Cyperi rhizoma is provided to reduce the bitter taste of Cyperi rhizoma, improve the sweetness, and to provide tea to drinkers regardless of body constitution. CONSTITUTION: Rhizome of Cyperi Rhizoma is washed, dehydrated, and finely cut. The rhizome of Cyperi Rhizoma is extracted using an extraction solvent, and spray dried. Tangerine peel is washed, dehydrated, and finely cut. The tangerine peel is extracted using the extraction solvent, and spray dried. Ginger is washed, dehydrated, and finely cut. The ginger is extracted using the extraction solvent, and spray dried. 55-70 wt% of Cyperi Rhizoma extract, 20-30 wt% of tangerine peel extract, and 15-25 wt% of ginger extract are mixed. The mixture is crushed into 50-150 meshes. The extraction solvent is 20-70% ethanol. The extraction is conducted at 25-85°C for 1-10 hours.
