PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syrup with excellent foaming properties, enabling light texture and good flavor release to be achieved, with easy foam formation specifically by use of a foam dispenser of non-aerosol type or by mechanical agitation and the like.SOLUTION: The syrup includes: (A) a foaming agent; (B) fermented cellulose; and (C) at least one selected from the group consisting of water-soluble soybean polysaccharides, a propylene glycol alginate ester, an arabic gum, and a ghatti gum.
