PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing yeast highly containing folic acid capable of producing yeast highly containing folic acid, efficiently, simply and at a low cost, and to provide yeast highly containing folic acid highly containing folic acid, debris of yeast highly containing folic acid, and various kinds of foods which make folic acid be efficiently taken and absorbed in living bodies, and which are high in safety.SOLUTION: The method for producing yeast highly containing folic acid includes the culture of yeast in a culture solution containing 0.2-0.6 mass% of methionine and 0.0002-0.0004 mass% of para-aminobenzoic acid (pABA).
