A method for treatment of a human patient for Alzheimers disease (AD) comprises sequentially administering multiple doses of a recombinant, fully human, anti-amyloid beta monoclonal antibody to the patient. In preferred embodiments, the antibody is administered in increasing amounts over a period of time. In preferred embodiments, the susceptibility of the patient to amyloid related imaging abnormalities (ARIA) is thereby reduced.Linvention concerne un procédé de traitement dun patient humain atteint de la maladie dAlzheimer (AD) comprenant ladministration séquentielle de doses multiples dun anticorps monoclonal anti-bêta amyloïde de recombinaison, entièrement humain, au patient. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, lanticorps est administré dans des quantités croissantes sur une période de temps. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, la susceptibilité du patient à des anomalies dimagerie dorigine amyloïde (ARIA) est ainsi réduite.
