FUNGICIDAL COMPOSITION BASED ON HELIOPSIS LONGIPES AND PROPOLIS EXTRACTS, FOR THE CONTROL AND/OR REMOVAL OF DERMATOPHYTOSIS AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF.
The present disclosure relates to a fungicidal composition based on natural extracts for the control and/or removal of any type of dermatophytosis in general, characterized in that it comprises: A) 5% to 35% of Heliopsis longipes natural extract B) 15% to 45% of Propilis natural extract c) 15% to 19% of a dermal vehicle D) 1% to 74% of 65% ethanol, the total of all percentages must add up to 100%. The percentages of each component in the composition of the present invention provide a greater effectiveness and prolonged effect on the control and/or removal of any type of dermatophytosis caused by dermatophyte fungi of the genera Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton, especially T rubrum, T mentagrophytes, T tonsurans, M canis and E floccosum. The chilcuague extract (Heliopsis longipes) has a fungicidal effect inhibiting the development of the mycelium in filamentous fungi, especially dermatophyte fungi, and reducing the content of ergosterol and the accumulation of fatty acids in the latter. Additionally, the extract of Heliopsis longipes has an analgesic effect in severely affected patients. The propolis extract, causes an increase in the permeability and a reduction in the potential of membranes and cell walls, thereby reducing the resistance against other toxic agents of the same extract or other extracts, acting in synergy with the chilcuague extract, further having an antifungal effect that suppresses the growth of Mycelium and formation of sclerotia. The chilcuague (Heliopsis longipes) extract is obtained by the solid-liquid extraction method with constant stirring.
