PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress with a novel structure capable of advantageously urging improvement of blood circulation of a user, and to provide a control method of the mattress.SOLUTION: Plural cells 24 are arranged in matrix on a body pressure action surface. On the basis of a body pressure applied to each cell 24 measured by body pressure measurement means 88, a cell 24 where a body pressure equal to or larger than a predetermined value is measured is selected as an object cell 24.
