A blood collection needle 10 for a drip blood collection method is composed of a needle tube 2 and a tube 3 into which the needle tube 2 is inserted. The ratio Dn / Dt of the inner diameter Dn of the needle tube 2 to the inner diameter Dt of the tube 3 is 0.2 or more, more preferably 0.3 or more and less than 1.0.
