PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood-vessel-image measuring apparatus which can precisely determine a diameter of a blood vessel.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: (a) an ultrasonic probe 12 having a prove body 28 installed on a living body 14 and having an x-axis-turning mechanism (x-axis-supporting device) 70 which is provided on the prove body 28 and supports ultrasonic arrays A1 and A2 such that the ultrasonic arrays are rotatable about an x-axis parallel to a direction of an arrangement of ultrasonic oscillators a1 to an and (b) x-axis control means S2 and S3 which controls a posture of the ultrasonic arrays A1 and A2 supported by the x-axis turning mechanism 70 such that in a y-z plane, the emission surface of an ultrasonic beam emitted from the ultrasonic arrays A1 and A2 is parallel to a blood vessel 20.
