The present utility model discloses a hanging plant pot of the type that can be hung from any external wall-mounted hanging bracket. The pot is defined by a unitary pot body comprising a flat bottom wall, a rear wall, opposed side walls, and front wall projecting upwardly from said bottom wall, and a plurality spaced inverted U-shaped hooks extending upwardly from the top edge of said rear wall. An embossed surface is provided which spans the bottom of said inverted U-shaped hooks and a portion of the rear wall in close proximity with said U-shaped hooks. The opposed side walls are provided with semi-circular notches at the rear top edge adapted to hold a water hose so that watering the plants is easily facilitated.
