The invention relates to a device allowing weighting-down weights to be mounted on and dismantled from weight holders of agricultural tractors, without fixing. It comprises a locking lever 4 securely fastened to the weighting-down weight 1 tipping about a half-swivel 6 taking up position in a cavity 7A securely fastened to the housing 7; the locking lever 4 equipped with a ratchet 5 with a lock-bolt profile 5A acting as a cam is held in place by a spring 8 which is stressed during locking and unlocking of the weight 1 on the weight holder 2. Amongst the advantageous applications of the invention can be mentioned the fixing of circular weights to flanges fixed to wheel rims. <IMAGE>
