The present invention relates to electric pruning shears, which comprises: a case having a mounting space inside； a pipe unit having one side installed to be rotated at a support pipe extended from the case, and formed to be adjustable in length； a cutting unit having a fixed blade fixed to an end of the pipe unit, and having a cutting blade connected to the fixed blade to be rotated in order to cut a branch with the fixed blade； a driving unit having a driving motor installed inside the case, and having a power conversion unit connected to one side of the driving motor in order to convert a rotational movement of the driving motor into a rectilinear movement； an operation unit having a switch unit for selecting a rotation direction of the driving motor, and having a control unit for controlling motion of the driving motor according to operation of the switch unit； a driving transfer unit in which one side is connected to the driving unit, and the other side is connected to the cutting blade, and which transfers power generated from the driving unit to the cutting blade in order to allow the cutting unit to perform a cutting motion or a release motion depending on the operational status of the driving unit； and a battery unit for providing the power to the driving unit.본 발명은 전동식 전지가위에 관한 것으로, 내부에 장착공간이 마련된 케이스와； 상기 케이스로부터 연장된 지지파이프에 일 측이 회전가능하게 설치되고 길이 조절 가능하게 형성된 파이프부와； 상기 파이프부의 단부에 고정된 고정날과, 상기 고정날과 함께 나뭇가지를 자를 수 있도록 상기 고정날에 회전가능하게 결합된 절단날을 포함하는 절단부와； 상기 케이스 내부에 설치되는 구동모터와, 상기 구동모터의 일 측에 결합되어 상기 구동모터의 회전 운동을 직선 운동으로 변환시키는 동력변환부를 포함하는 구동부와； 상기 구동모터의 회전방향을 선택하기 위한 스위치부와, 상기 스위치부의 조작에 따라 상기 구동모터의 동작을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 조작부와； 상기 구동부에 일 측이 결합되고 상기 절단날에 타 측이 결합되어 상기 구동부의 작동 상태에 따라 상기 절단부가 절단 동작 또는 풀림 동작을 수행할 수 있도록 상기 구동부에서 발생하는 동력을 상기 절단날에 전달하는 동력전달부와； 상기 구동부에 전원을 공급하는 배터리부；를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
