Horticulture shears (10) comprising a first shear blade (20) an actuation arm (30) and a second shear blade (50) pivotally connected to the first shear blade (20) and a linkage arm (70) pivotally connected between the actuation arm (30) and the second shear blade (50) the bottom end of the second shear blade (50) is provided with a slide groove (53) and a plurality of fixing grooves (54) communicating with the slide groove a switching device (90) is installed in the actuation arm (30) when the switching device (90) is located at the first use position one end of the linkage arm (70) is fit in one fixing groove (54) adjacent to the top end of the slide groove (53) and cannot slide up and down along the slide groove (53) for shearing twigs and when the switching device (90) is located at a second use position one end of the linkage arm (70) slides up and down along the slide groove (53) and is optionally fit in one of the fixing grooves (54) thus switching to another force application pivot to cut bigger branches into pieces.
