PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agricultural film which can automatically control its light transmission in response to the quantity of sunshine, has excellent durability, and is useful culturing crops in a green house and so forth by subjecting a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin such as a water-insoluble thermoplastic resin and a photochromic compound in a specific ratio to an extrusion molding method or the like. SOLUTION: This film for agriculture is obtained by subjecting a resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of a water-insoluble or slightly water-soluble thermoplastic resin such as a polyvinyl chloride-based resin and 0.001 to 10 pts.wt. of a photochromic compound such as 1'-methoxycarbonylmethy1-8''- methoxy-6''-(4-methylpiperazino)dispiro(cyclohexane-1,3'-(3H)indole-2' -(1'H), 3''-(3 H)naphtho(3,2-a)(1,4)oxadine to an extrusion molding method, an inflation molding method or a calender molding method. The film is preferably a laminated film.
