PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric toothbrush in which a toothtbrush part is not bulky and has a wide brushing area.SOLUTION: Toothbrushes are formed which have tufts implanted radially in tips of two rotary shafts, two right and left toothbrushes are arranged closely so that tips of tufts of both the brushes cross each other, and base ends of the rotary shafts are coupled to a motor built in a handle part to rotate the toothbrushes in directions opposite to each other. The brushing area is wide since the two toothbrushes are arranged side by side. The rotary shafts and bearing parts thereof are formed of flexible materials and the gap between the two toothbrushes is freely widened, so that teeth can be brushed from a variety of directions.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯ブラシの部分が嵩張らずしかも磨く面積が広い回転式電動歯ブラシを提供する。【解決手段】2本の回転軸の先端部に放射状に植毛した歯ブラシを形成して、両方のブラシの毛先が交差するように歯ブラシを左右2本接近して配置すると共に、前記回転軸の基端部をハンドル部に内蔵したモータに連結して、前記歯ブラシを両者逆方向に回転する。歯ブラシが2本並んでいるため磨く面積が広い。回転軸とその軸受け部を可撓性材料で形成して2本の歯ブラシの間が自由に広がるため、歯をいろいろな角度から磨くことが出来る。【選択図】図1
