The present invention relates to a dental composition comprising a polymerizable compound of the following formula (I): X'-L-X" (I), wherein X', L and X" are as defined in claim 1, a photosensitizer and an iodonium salt. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the polymerizable compound of formula (I) for the preparation of a dental composition.
