The present invention relates to a chitosan-ionized calcium composite formulation and a method for producing the same and, more specifically, to a method for producing a chitosan-ionized calcium composite formulation by sequentially dissolving chitosan and calcium in nitric acid to produce a mixture solution and drying the same. In the method for producing a chitosan-ionized calcium composite formulation according to the present invention, a toxic material is removed, thereby ensuring safety in the human body and improving a calcium and chitosan absorbing rate, so as to be usefully used as a composite health functional food and a nutritional supplement for crops.
