The present invention relates to a process for treating keratin fibres, which comprises the application to the keratin fibres of a hair composition comprising at least one active agent chosen from hair dyes, oxidizing agents and cationic conditioners, followed by the application to the fibres of a heating iron whose temperature is greater than or equal to 60°C.
