PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform agricultural work efficiently in a farmland.SOLUTION: An automatic cultivation method comprises the following steps that: a plurality of antennas adjoining each other are arranged in a base station 200 which is provided near a farmland 4 radio signals are transmitted from the respective antennas and a cultivation mechanism 419 is provided in a farm machine 300 and an information processor 100 and a position locating device 411 for evaluating current position of the farm machine on the basis of phase difference of radio signals transmitted from the respective antennas are provided in the farm machine 300. The farm machine 300 stores a course provided for the farmland 4 and agricultural work performed by the cultivation mechanism 419 while travelling the course.
