PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Aves chase-off device capable of chasing off pigeon (Aves) while avoiding a noise problem.SOLUTION: An Aves chase-off device emits a chase-off sound (inaudible ultrasonic wave), in a predetermined zone to which a speaker 1 is directed, which is produced by modulating to an ultrasonic frequency. The chase-off sound produced by modulating to an ultrasonic frequency modulates itself to a chase-off sound (an audible sound) of an audible frequency in the air to be reproduced only within a predetermined zone, and can chase off pigeon. The Ultrasonic wave is highly directive so as to reproduce the chase-off sound only in a predetermined zone to which the speaker 1 is directed, capable of avoiding a noise problem. Further the chase-off sound uses the sound including at least 200 Hz-8 kHz allowing pigeon to hear. Therefore, pigeon that has an audible range narrower than human being and cannot hear ultrasonic wave can be chased off by the chase-off sound modulated to an audible frequency in the air.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】騒音問題を回避しつつ、鳩(鳥類)を追い払うことのできる鳥類追払装置を提供する。【解決手段】鳥類追払装置は、「超音波周波数に変調した追払音(聞こえない超音波)」をスピーカ1の向けられた所定範囲に放出する。「超音波周波数に変調した追払音(聞こえない超音波)」は、空気中で可聴周波数の追払音(聞こえる音波)に自己変調して、所定範囲のみで再生される。これにより、追払音により鳩を追い払うことができる。超音波は指向性が強いため、追払音をスピーカ1が向けられた所定範囲のみで再生することができ、騒音問題を回避することができる。また、鳩が聞こえる200Hz~8kHzを少なくとも含む追払音を用いるため、聞こえる周波数が人間より狭く、超音波が聞こえない鳩であっても、空気中で可聴周波数に変調させた追払音によって追い払うことができる。【選択図】 図1
