The present invention relates to a drug delivery microorganism which is transformed by a gene construct containing a therapeutically active peptide, is safely transferred into the intestine by oral administration, and expresses and secretes cystatin in the gastrointestinal tract, and a prophylactic or therapeutic gastrointestinal disease containing the same.
