PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter that is configured to improve workability by easily performing careful speed-control.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter includes: a continuously variable transmission 21 for changing the output of an engine and transmitting it to a travel gear a gear shift operational tool 16 for changing a gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission 21 a brake mechanism 23 for giving a braking force to the travel gear and an actuator 60 for changing an engine speed. The rice transplanter is configured to control both of the engine speed and a control amount of the continuously variable transmission 21, in proportion to an increase and decrease of a traveling speed based on a manipulated variable of the gear shift operational tool 16 by the actuator 60. An increasing amount for controlling the continuously variable transmission 21 is configured so that the manipulated variable of the continuously variable transmission 21 becomes smaller in comparison with the manipulated variable of the gear shift operational tool 16, in the relationship between the manipulated variable of the gear shift operational tool 16 and the control amount of the continuously variable transmission 21.
