PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subcutaneous fat thickness meter preventing light from the outside from adversely affecting the measurement of a subcutaneous fat thickness by a light emitting part and a light receiving part and accurately measuring the subcutaneous fat thickness.SOLUTION: On the back surface of a flat apparatus main body 3, a subcutaneous fat thickness measurement part 12 having the light emitting part 15 and the light receiving part 16 for measuring the subcutaneous fat thickness of a part 20 to be measured of a subject is provided.
