PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber bundle that reduces unevenness of lighting used for a lighting device for an endoscope.SOLUTION: A lighting device 10 for an endoscope includes an LED light source 50 having a rectangular light emitting surface 52 formed in a roughly flat surface, and an optical fiber bundle 30 for guiding the light emitted from the LED light source 50 to the tip of an insertion part provided to the endoscope. The optical fiber bundle 30 is configured by bundling a large number of optical fibers 32.
