The waste gas cleaning method involves passing waste gases through a wash-venturi and a cyclone (4, 5, 6) for obtaining fluosilicic acid from silicon tetrafluoride. The fluosilicic acid is transmitted in water dilution from the cyclone to the entrance of the wash-venturi and subjected to gas treatment and subsequently introduced into a scrubber type device for absorption of the chemical methyl mercaptan. Adjustment and regulation is carried out to obtain concentrated fluosilicic acid.
