The present invention relates to a composition comprising alpha-lipoic acid and N-acetyl cysteine as active ingredients. The mixed composition of alpha-lipoic acid and N-acetylcysteine in the present invention reduces the risk of side effects caused by the drug due to the synergistic effect of co-administration of two drugs (drugs). Compared to each single composition containing an acid or N-acetylcysteine, the inhibitory effect on weight gain is superior, so it can be usefully used for the prevention or treatment of obesity.
