PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diphenyl sulfide derivative useful as a medicament having excellent S1P3 antagonist activity. [MEANS FOR SOLVING SOLUTION] As a result of intensive research to create a compound having S1P3 antagonist activity, it has been found that, in general formula (1) [in formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen atom, etc. A preferable alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, X represents a methylene group which may be substituted with 1 or 2 fluorine atoms, Y represents a hydrogen atom, and Z represents a halogen atom. It was found that the diphenyl sulfide derivative has excellent S1P3 antagonist activity.
